Who is responsible
Harbor Liquidations, 13175 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92843, runs this website and decides how the information described here is used.
What we collect
- Inquiries: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, and your message.
- Orders: your name, phone number, email address, pickup or delivery choice, delivery address, the items ordered, amounts paid and the order status.
- Accounts and membership: your email address, name, password (stored hashed, we cannot read it), your orders and your membership status.
- Payment: your card details go straight to Stripe on its secure page. We never receive or store your card number. Stripe sends us a payment reference and the last four digits.
- Technical: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
To answer your inquiry, to take payment, to calculate sales tax and delivery fees, to call you about pickup or delivery, to send order confirmations and receipts, to run your account and membership, to handle returns and refunds, to keep records the law requires, and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
Only companies that provide a service to us, and only what they need: Stripe (payments, sales tax, member billing), Resend (sending our emails), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Maps (turning a delivery address into a distance for the fee). Each acts on our instructions. We also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Inquiries are kept until answered and closed, then for up to 12 months. Account information is kept while the account exists. Delete your account or ask us to, and we remove what we are not required to keep.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies: one that keeps you signed in to your account and one that remembers your language choice. Both are needed for the site to work. We use no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers. Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page under its own privacy policy.
Your California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you can ask us what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and you have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, call (661) 335-2843 or send an email to the address on our contact page. We verify who you are before acting, usually by matching your phone number or email against your order or account. We answer within 45 days.
Children
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
